A Baltimore for the Ladies
Per request, we have widened our horizons and now offer the lovely Baltimore shirt in a v-neck ladies style. In addition to the flattering v-neckline, the waist is also flared to fully compliment the female form.
This shirt, of course, follows all of our Rational Act standards: made from organic cotton shirts (Alternative Apparel) and printed with earth-friendly inks. We accept only the best when it comes to our apparel, and we assume that you do too!
Expect a post soon about up-coming festivals that Rational Act will be participating in. Until then be safe, be green, and act rational.

Babies!!!
It is official, we are now beginning our long hard venture into the baby line of clothing! We just ordered a big bunch of American Apparel organic onesies in yellow and purple. To begin, we are just going to modify and print our “Cities” (Baltimore and Pittsburgh) designs on the onesies. These shirts are great for teaching your baby who to root for in important sports games, broadcasting that your baby is a die-hard sports fan, or just showing your baby’s support for his or her city. As soon as we get them printed, we will get some pictures up so you can see just how cute they really are.
Sizes we currently have are 6-12 month, 12-18 month, and 18-24 month. With the right demand, we hope to extend our line of sizes and designs to provide you wil a full line of eco-friendly, hip baby clothes. Demand it of us and we shall comply!

MICA Art Market
WHAT: Holiday Art Sale!
WHEN: December 9th thru 12th
WHERE: Falvey Hall, MICA, 1300 Maryland Ave, Baltimore, MD
.
The MICA (that is Maryland Institute College of Art for those who aren’t familiar) Art Market is a really great place to go and support local budding artist, to see what’s up-and-coming in the art world (at least the art world of MICA and the Baltimore area), and to get some holiday shopping out of the way.
The Art Market allows MICA students and staff to showcase and sell their artwork and crafts the general public. It conveniently takes place in December, right when we all start thinking about Chanukah and Christmas and Festivus and all those wonderful December holidays. The range of things for sale is vast; everything is handmade by rule and most things are actually reasonably priced.
But anywho, we will be there and we encourage you to stop by if you are in the area. Support your local community, or, if you are from out of town, support the Arts!

Forgive our Crudity, We are New
Also, I’d like to say as a graphic designer, please excuse the crudity of this blog for now. We are new and still working on our aesthetic.
Thanks!

Rundown of Rational Act Clothing
We at Rational Act believe it is not only important to have cool designs, but to have all-around cool products. That is why we bar no holds when it comes to choosing materials for our clothing. Let’s face it, these days, sustainable is cool. We take pride in offering our customers high quality organic cotton clothing (at the moment provided by American Apparel). And what good are organics to the sustainable effort without green screen printing processes to go along with them? All of our screen printing materials, from solvents to inks, are earth-friendly, which means water-based and non-carcinogenic (yay!). Water-based inks you say? Won’t they come off in the wash? Not at all. Actually, water-based inks provide longer lasting enjoyment because instead of laying on top of the material (like typical plastic-based screen printing inks), our inks sink in deep, and dye the cloth.
In addition to printing our own stuff, we also print stuff for groups and organizations. Need fifty sweatshirts with your businesses logo on them? No problem. Need a hundred shirts with your high school chess club slogan on them? Can do. We will print whatever you want on most any surface (Note: Organic materials are not required in personal orders. Although we still use only earth-friendly solvents and inks in our printing, the materials upon which we print your order are entirely up to you).
So that is the basic rundown of us, Rational Act Clothing. So visit us and see what we can do.
